English World Messianic Bible

Isaiah 55:11 WMB so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 WMB All Scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for restoration, and for training in righteousness,

so that the person belonging to God may be capable, fully equipped for every good deed.
2 Peter 1:19-21 WMB We have the more sure word of prophecy; and you do well that you heed it as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts,

knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation.

For no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

How to hear and understand the Gospel

Word out of the Whirlwind

Job 38:1-3 WMB Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind,

“Who is this who darkens counsel by words without knowledge?

Brace yourself like a man, for I will question you, then you answer me!
Job 40:6-7 WMB Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind:

“Now brace yourself like a man. I will question you, and you will answer me.
Job 42:4-7 WMB You said, ‘Listen, now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you will answer me.’

I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.

Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”

It was so, that after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.

Romans 10:14-17 WMB How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a proclaimer?

And how will they proclaim unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who proclaim the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”

But they didn’t all listen to the glad news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”

So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Acts 26:17-18 WMB delivering you from the people and from the Gentiles, to whom I send you,

to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

Romans 15:4-7 WMB For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Now the God of perseverance and of encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Messiah Yeshua,

that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

Therefore accept one another, even as Messiah also accepted you, to the glory of God.
