Leviticus 18:1-11 NKJV
Leviticus 18:1-11 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
"Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them; 'I am the Lord your God.
'According to the doings of the land of Egypt, where you dwelt, you shall not do; and according to the doing of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you shall not do; not shall you walk in their ordinances.
'You shall observe My judgments and keep My ordinances, to walk in them; I am the Lord your God.
'You shall therefore keep My statues and My judgments, which if a man does, he shall live by them; I am the Lord.
'None of you shall approach anyone who is near of kin to him, to uncover his nakedness, I am the Lord.
'The nakedness of your father or the nakedness of your mother you shall not uncover. She is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness.
'The nakedness of your father's wife you shall not uncover; it is your father's nakedness.
'The nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother whether born at home or elsewhere, their nakedness you shall not uncover.
'The nakedness of your son's daughter or your daughter daughters, their nakedness you shall not uncover; for theirs is your own nakedness.
'The nakedness of your father's wife daughter, begotten by your father-- she is your sister--you shall not uncover her nakedness.
Exodus 6:6-8 "Therefor say to the children of Israel; 'I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.
'I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
'And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it you as a heritage; I am the Lord.'"
Exodus 20:1-2 And God spoke all these words, saying;
"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Deuteronomy 18:9-14 "When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations.
"There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,
"or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.
"For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you.
"You shall be blameless before the Lord your God.
"For these nations which you will dispossess listened to sooth-sayers and diviners; but as for you, the Lord your God has not appointed such for you.
