Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showing Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
And the devil said to Him, "All this authority I will give You, and their glory, for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.
"Therefore, if you will worship before me, all will be Yours."
And Jesus answered and said to him, "Get behind M, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.'"
Then he bought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here.
"For it is written; 'He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you,'
"and, 'In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.'"
And Jesus answered and said to him, "It is been said, 'You shall not tempt the Lord your God.'"

Luke 2:25-35 And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
And it has been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ,
So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law,
he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said;
"Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word;
For my eyes have seen Your salvation
Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples,
A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel."
And Joseph and His mother marveled at those things which were spoken of Him.
Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, "Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against
"(yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed."
Deuteronomy 8:1-6 "Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers.
"And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.
"So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
"Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years.
"You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.
"Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.
