Hosea 2:14-23 NKJV

Hosea 2:14-23 "Therefore, behold, I will allure her, Will bring her into the wilderness, And speak comfort to her.

I will give her her vineyards from there, And the Valley of Achor as a door of hope; She shall sing there, As in the days of her youth, as in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.

"And it shall be, in that day," Says the LORD, "That you will call Me 'My Husband,' And no longer call Me 'My Master,'

For I will take from her mouth the names of the Baals, and they shall be remembered by their name no more.

In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, With the birds of the air, And with the creeping things of the ground. Bow and sword of battle I will shatter from the earth, To make them lie down safely.

"I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy;

I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, And you shall know the LORD.

"It shall come to pass in that day That I will answer," says the LORD; "I will answer the heavens, And they shall answer the earth.

The earth shall answer With grain, With new wine, And with oil; They shall answer Jezreel.

Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people, 'You are My people' And they shall say, 'You are my God!"

Exodus 23:6-13 "You shall not pervert the judgment of your poor in his dispute.

"Keep yourself far from a false matter; do not kill the innocent and righteous, For I will not justify the wicked.

"And you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the discerning and perverts the words of the righteous.

"Also you shall not oppress a stranger, for you know the heart of a stranger, because you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

"Six years you shall sow your land and gather in its produce,

"but the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, that the poor of your people may eat; and what they leave, the beasts of the field may eat. In like manner you shall do with your vineyard and your olive grove.

"Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest, that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your female servant and the stranger may be refreshed.

"And in all that I have said to you, be circumspect and make no mention of the name of other gods, nor let it be heard from you mouth.

Zechariah 8:9-13 "Thus says the LORD of hosts; 'Let your hands be strong, You who have been hearing in these days These words by the mouth of the prophets, Who spoke in the day the foundation was laid For the house of the LORD of hosts, That the temple might be built.

For before these days There were no wages for man nor any hire for beast; There was no peace from the enemy for whoever went out or came in; For I set all men, everyone, against his neighbor.

'But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days,' says the LORD of hosts.

'For the seed shall be prosperous, The vine shall give fruit, The ground shall give her increase, And the heavens shall give their dew--I will cause the remnant of this people To possess all these.

And it shall come to pass That just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, So I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, Let your hands be strong.'

Jeremiah 31:27-30 "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast.

"And it shall come to pass, that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy, and to afflict, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, says the LORD.

"In those days they shall say no more: 'The fathers have eaten sour grapes, And the children's teeth are set on edge.'

"But every one shall die for his own iniquity; every man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth shall be set on edge.
