Psalm 136:1-26 For His Mercy Endures Forever NKJV Part 2

Who remembered is on our lowly state, For His mercy endures forever; And rescued us from our enemies, For His mercy endures forever;

Who gives food to all flesh, For His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the God of heaven! For His mercy endures forever.

Background Story for verse 5- Jeremiah 51:15-16 He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, And stretched out the heaven by His understanding. When He uttered His voice--

There is a multitude of waters in the heavens; 'He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings the winds out of Hos treasures."

Background Story for verse 7-Genesis 1:14-18 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years. “and let them be for lights In the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”, and it was so.

Then God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night,

and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.
