Do I hate them, O Lord, who hate You? NKJV


Psalms 139:19-22 Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God! Depart from me, therefore, you bloodthirsty men.

For they speak against You wickedly; Your enemies take Your name in vain.

Do I hate them, O Lord, who hate You? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You?

I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them my enemies.

Isaiah 11:1-5 There shall come froth a Rod from the stem of Jesse. And a Branch shall grow out of its roots.

The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him. The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might. The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

His delight is in the fear of the Lord, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears.

But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth. And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.

Righteousness shall be the belt of His lions, And faithfulness the belt f His waist.

Psalm 119:113-120 I hate the double-minded, But I love Your law.

You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.

Depart from me, you evildoers. For I will keep the commandments of my God!

Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live; And do not let me be ashamed of my hope.

Hold me up, and I shall be safe. And I shall observe Your statues continually.

You reject all those who stray from Your statues, For their deceit is falsehood.

You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross; Therefore I love Your testimonies.

My flesh trembles for fear of You, And I am afraid of Your Judgments.

Jude verses 14-25 Now Enoch the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousand of His saints,

"to execute judgment of all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."

These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.

But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

how they told that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.

These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

And on some have compassion, making a distinction,

but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,

To god our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

2 Chronicles 19:1-7 Then Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned safely to his house in Jerusalem.

And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to King Jehoshaphat, "Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Therefore the wrath of the Lord is upon you.

"Nevertheless good things are found in you, in that you have removed the wooden images from the land, and have prepared your heart to seek God."

So Jehoshaphat dwelt in Jerusalem, and he went out again among the people from Beersheba to the mountains of Ephraim, and brought them back to the Lord God of their fathers.

Then he set judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city,

and said to the judges, "Take heed to what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment.

"Now therefore, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care and do it, for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, no partiality nor taking of bribes."
