THE LAW OF GOD IS A WAKE UP CALL.

Those who take the position that Christ has done it all, and that we need not obey the requirements of God, will fail of everlasting life. But what a terrible thing it is to trample upon the holy commandments of the Lord,—to be unthankful, unholy, and so lose the soul at last.
Christ gives the test by which to prove our loyalty or disloyalty. "IF YE LOVE ME,” He says, "KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.... He that hath My commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me. And he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him.... “If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in My love; even as I have kept My Father’s commandments, and abide in His love.” John 14:15-24; 15:10. COL 283.3
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 ...'Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: FEAR GOD, and KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.'
Keeping of the commandments of God' was not just for the Jews, but for all MANKIND? In Revelation 14 that the 'everlasting gospel', which includes the 'keeping of the commandments of God' is not just for the Jews, but for EVERY NATION, KINDRED, TONGUE AND PEOPLE?
This has been God's message since day one in this world, and it has never changed. It is these commandments of God that Jesus said ... "till heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or tittle shall pass from the law." (Matthew 5:18).
Has heaven and earth passed away yet? Then what does that mean for God's commandments, those great ten moral precepts for all mankind? It means not one jot or tittle has passed from them.
God’s law is given to men as a hedge, a shield. Whoever accepts its principles is preserved from evil. Fidelity to God involves fidelity to man. Thus the law guards the rights, the individuality, of every human being.
It restrains the superior from oppression, and the subordinate from disobedience. It ensures man’s well-being, both for this world and for the world to come. To the obedient it is the pledge of eternal life, for it expresses the principles that endure forever. Ed 76.4
