Meek NKJV


Psalm 22:26 The poor shall eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise the Lord. Let your heart live forever!

Psalm 37:9-11 For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the lord, They shall inherit the earth.

For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more, Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, but it shall be no more.

But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your soul.

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

James 3:13-18 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his words are done in the meekness of wisdom.

But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, Do not boast and lie against the truth.

This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.

For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy,

Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, For my strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
