Good morning, everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

I can always tell when I have completely and utterly annoyed the enemy. When I have completely annihilated his purpose or plan by my obedience, he sends out a large skulk or family of foxes to ransack my day.

Today the dog really had to potty … way before time to get up. As I was getting her out, my husband thought it was time to get up as well … without looking at the clock. He quickly shut the lights off.

As needy as she proclaimed to need to potty, the dog decided that each piece of frosted tundra needed to be investigated in my front yard, prior to taking care of business.

Crawling back into bed, I was now cold because it is quite chilly outside, and my thin pj pants were not very effective for my legs. And because my husband had turned on a light, my brain decided it was time to wake up … fortunately, I am a bigger bully than my brain; however, the dream I had in my morning slumber was complete stupidity and chaos. So not restful sleep.

My husband made me a glorious cup of coffee, and you know … it was hot when I decided to take a large gulp. Don’t ask me why … I have no idea why my brain thought it was a good idea to do that.

As I sat down at my computer, it had its “I think I am going to crash” look on its screen. We had words, and I rebooted … obviously, it worked.

Checking my phone, I found that I had two missed calls from my mom. I listened to her voicemails, and I then gave her a call back. It appears that she may have a blown breaker or a breaker issue. I will investigate after church.

All this … just this morning. A busy little skulk they have been. What they do not seem to understand is that I am a child of God and though I do get annoyed and frustrated, I press on to the prize.

When you wake up to a herd of pigs trampling your dreams, remember that He is in charge and that all things are possible through him. Perhaps that road to your dream was a dangerous or damaged one. Ultimately, your dreams, if aligned with His purpose, will flow as smoothly as milk and honey. You need only have faith.

Today, as you sit in His house … give thanks for the blessing that you have already received and your skulk or heard … because those are signs that you are on the right road and the enemy is not happy. Follow the Word for the Truth … and you will receive.

Be blessed today my friends.
