Endurance is derived from a Greek word "hypomone" Which means to remain under pressure or difficultulty.

Many people have been told this word (to endure) countless times and it seems to either keep us calm in hope or infuriate us depending on our state and perspective of our situations.

As humans we do not like to be subjected to or under pressure for whatsoever reason - if we must live accordingly the life God wants for us then we must begin to understand the place of endurance in all things.

That brings us to the question - what are those things we need to endure in our journey of faith?

Let's Consider our Master Jesus who is the author and the finisher of our faith with respect to what he had to endure.

Two key things Jesus had to endure when He was on earth are Temptations and Suffering (trials and any other difficulties). He went through both of them to understand what it is to be human and to be able to help us through such things.

Temptations often comes in diverse form. when you are tired, hungry or thirsty about/for a thing - temptation surfaces

Suffering is part of what it takes to run our race without it we cannot be qualified for God's Kingdom. It will always bring about humiliation but the end thereof is exaltation.

As a believer if you can endure temptations and suffering like Jesus did - You will always triumph because of your assurance in Christ Jesus to strengthen you that you do not grow weary nor faint, becoming a light unto others and most importantly there is a crown of glory that awaits you.

When your concentration is on Jesus, you will avoid the temptations to shift your allegiance to Prophets, Angels, Man or any other...

You will delight in the sufferings knowing that everything is working out for your good.

May God grant you the Grace to Endure in all things for the Glory of God!
