**A Prayer for the Lost and Weary**
O Lord, our refuge and redeemer,
I lift up to You those who wander in the shadows—
those whose spirits are weary, whose minds are clouded by darkness,
whose hearts ache beneath the weight of this world’s cruelty and confusion.
For those entangled in the snares of evil,
who feel the pull of temptation and the sting of regret,
who walk the fragile line between light and shadow,
fighting daily battles unseen by others—
Lord, be their strength.
For those who are afraid,
who wake each morning with dread and sleep each night in sorrow,
who feel forgotten, forsaken, or unworthy—
Lord, be their comfort.
For those who are sick in body,
tormented in mind, or broken in spirit,
whose pain runs deeper than words can express—
Lord, be their healer.
You, O God, are not distant.
You are near to the brokenhearted,
You bind up the wounds of the crushed in spirit.
It is not Your will that any soul be lost,
but that all would come to know Your love,
Your forgiveness, Your mercy, and Your grace.
So I pray, Lord Jesus—
enter into the hearts of those who cry out in silence,
those who have forgotten how to pray,
those who feel unworthy to be loved.
Shine Your light into their darkness.
Speak peace into their storms.
Lift their heads, steady their steps,
and fill them with Your Holy Spirit.
Let Your love be a balm to their wounds,
Your truth a lamp to their feet,
Your presence a shelter in the wilderness.
Remind them that they are not forgotten,
not forsaken, not beyond redemption.
You are the God who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one.
You are the Shepherd who carries the lost lamb home.
You are the Savior who bore our sorrows,
who conquered death,
who rose again so that we might live.
May every soul—living or departed—be touched by Your grace.
May Your mercy reach into every corner of despair.
May Your name be glorified in every heart that turns to You.
Blessings upon those who seek You,
and even more upon those who do not yet know they need You.
May they find peace in You, Lord Jesus.
May they find rest.
May they find life.
Amen.
