The Gospel continues (part 3)
In Genesis 2:15-17, God put Adam in the garden of Eden and told Adam that he can freely eat of every tree in the garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
This is where we now pause and think... On what knowledge was Adam operating on? This is very simple to answer if you know how he named the animals.
If Adam could name the earthly animals according to how God named the Spirit Animals, it then means that... Whatever God knew, Adam also know. With this analysis, I think we now have our answer
Adam was operating on the knowledge of good and RIGHTEOUSNESS which is of God and God told Adam to stay away from the tree of the knowledge of good and EVIL which is of death. Yes! Death! Because God said Adam would die if he eats from the tree. With common sense, Death should be the name of the tree right? Let's move on...
If you noticed, I capitalized righteousness and evil. I did it because I want to bring in what we all know in our primary school called WORDS and OPPOSITE. Can you see that no knowledge is wasted. So please take all your studies seriously because everything will help you in the time of when you are in need of it. I will be using SYNONYMS also in the next paragraph.
Here it comes... If we have a word called RIGHTEOUSNESS and an opposite called EVIL, we can synonymically call them LIFE and DEATH or LIGHT and DARKNESS according to Jesus in John 8:12. Read this scripture because I will use it in the next paragraph.
If Adam has followed the instructions of God also called the word of God also called Jesus Christ, he would never have had anything to do with darkness but shall have the light of life. How should I explain this better let me try...
Genesis 3:8 says that Adam heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden. There's a lot here to grab but I will deal with just one lot. We have to pause and think. The question is How did Adam know it was God walking and not an animal?
It's very simple and I'll be concise... It is called familiarity with the way God walks which brings up the next question, How did Adam familiarise himself with the walk of God? It's also very simple and I'll also be concise... It has always been a consistent action for God to go to the garden in the cool of the day of everyday.
TAKEAWAY: consistency breeds familiarity
Back to Genesis 3:8 in explaining John 8:12 with the aid or help of John 1:1 which says that: in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. Who is the word?
We have to answer that from Genesis 3:8. It says that the voice of the LORD God walked in the Garden. Can a voice walk? Which means that when God spoke, the voice of God, the word of God called Jesus came out walking in the garden which I will say is true because first Timothy 6:16 says that God dwells in the light no man can approach and Paul also said in Hebrews 12:29 that our Father God is a consuming fire.
Jesus the son of God who is God himself was the one walking in the garden because God the father who is also God himself can not use his consuming fire and his unapproachable light which no man can approach to approach the man called Adam.
We are done with John 1:1 which now gives us a better standing to explain John 8:12 with the aid of Genesis 3:8 but that will be till next tomorrow because I have exams tomorrow.
Enjoy your days because God has made it so
