A happily married young Christian lady here on Lordsbook is uncomfortable in receiving 'friendship requests' from men who are obviously looking for a partner and who haven't taken the time to read her profile !
She actually states that she doesn't wish to receive a 'friendship request' from anyone whom she does not already know , which I see as impractical and defeats the very reason for the existence of Lordsbook or facebook and other social media platforms.
I sent her this comment and I hope that it resonates with the majority of those who read this.

A very nice sentiment _ _ _ _ _ but reality is that you and I don't know anyone on Lordsbook.com unless we reach out and issue a 'friendship invitation' OR respond to one. It's worth bearing in mind that you can always 'unfriend ' a member ( or Block ) a member who is proving a nuisance or whose Posts or messages do not concur with your own personal areas of spiritual assurance. As I write this, I have been on Lordsbook since January 2025, and have almost 15,000 'friends'. It is impractical for me to develop any depth of 'friendship' with those numbers and I do not issue a 'standard welcome' message UNLESS a new friend reaches out to me. Not ALL men on Lordsbook are looking for a partner and I am a happily married in my upper 70's, and a Born again Christian for 60 years and a former pastor and evangelist . I have no intention whatever of changing that marital situation !! Just so you know, I also get unwanted and unwelcome approaches occasionally from inappropriately posed ( maybe women ) and I just defriend them and Block their profiles. I have sent you a friend invite as I do with almost ALL new Lordsbook members. You are totally free to ignore it or block me. I haven't time or inclination to get offended ! Blessings."
