Romans 15:2-3 Exploring KJV

Romans 15:2-3 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

1 Corinthians 9:19-23 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

To them that are without law, as without  law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,)  that I might gain them that are without law.

To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak; I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.

2 Corinthians 13:7-10 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil, not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, thought we be as reproaches.

For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong; and this also we wish, even your perfection.

Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.

Psalm 69:5-18 O God, thou knoweth my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake; let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Is'-ra-el.

Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.

I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and am alien unto my mother's children.

For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

I made sackcloth also my garments; and I became a proverb to them.

They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in thy truth of thy salvation.

Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink, let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

Let not the waterflood overflows me, neither let the deep swallow me up; and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good; turn unto me according tom the multitude of thy tender mercies.

and hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble; hear me speedily.

Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it; deliver me because of mine enemies.
