Hebrews 11:1 Faith Is Exploring NIV

Faith In Action

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Romans 8:24-25 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

Peace and Hope

Romans 5:1-5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, beacuse we know that suffering peroduces perseverance;

perseverance, character; and character, hope.

And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Ephesians 2:18-19 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God's people and also members of his household.

Ephesians 3:8-13 Although I am less than the least of all the lord's people, this grace was given me; to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ,

and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mercy, for which ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.

His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,

according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.
