Faith
Hebrews 11:1 To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.
Romans 8:24-25 For it was by hope that we were saved; but if we see what we hope for, then it is not really hope. For which of us hopes for something we see?
But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
Right with God
Romans 5:1-5 Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
He has brought us by faith into this experience of God's grace, in which we now live. And so we boast of the hope we have of sharing God's glory!
We also boast of our troubles, because we know that trouble produces endurance,
endurance brings God's approval, and his approval creates hope.
This hope does not disappoint us, for God has poured out his love into our hearts by means of the Holy Spirit, who is God's gift to us.
Ephesians 2:18-19 It is through Christ that all of us, Jews and Gentiles, are able to come in the one Spirit into the presence of the Father.
So then, you Gentiles are not foreigners or strangers any longer; you are now fellow-citizens with God's people and members of the family of God.
Ephesians 3:8-13 I am less than the least of all God's people; yet God gave me this privilege of taking to the Gentiles the Good News about the infinite riches of Christ,
and of making all people see how God's secret plan is to be put into effect. God, who is the Creator of all things, kept his secret hidden through all the past ages,
in order that at the present time, by means of the church, the angelic rulers and powers in the heavenly world might learn of his wisdom in all its different forms.
God did this according to his eternal purpose, which he achieved through Christ Jesus our Lord.
In union with Christ and through our faith in him we have the boldness to go into God's presence with all confidence.
I beg you, then, not to be discouraged because I am suffering for you; it is all for your benefit.
