Romans 3:10-12 Exploring GNB


Romans 3:10-12 As the Scriptures say: “There is no one who is righteous,

no one who is wiseor who worships God.

All have turned away from God; they have all gone wrong; no one does what is right, not even one.

Ecclesiastics 7:15-20 My life has been useless, but in it I have seen everything. Some good people may die while others live on, even though they are evil.

So don't be too good or too wise — why kill yourself?

But don't be too wicked or too foolish, either — why die before you have to?

Avoid both extremes. If you have reverence for God, you will be successful anyway.

Wisdom does more for a person than ten rulers can do for a city.

There is no one on earth who does what is right all the time and never makes a mistake.

Human Wickedness

Psalm 14:1-3 Fools say to themselves, “There is no God. ”They are all corrupt, and they have done terrible things; there is no one who does what is right.

The LORD looks down from heaven at human beings to see if there are any who are wise, any who worship him.

But they have all gone wrong; they are all equally bad. Not one of them does what is right, not a single one.
