DAILY DEVOTION - November 10
Refreshed by Generosity
Proverbs 11:25 (NKJV)
(Proverbs 11:25 NKJV: The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered
himself.)
Generosity is not loss—it’s spiritual refreshment. God promises that when we pour into others, He will
pour into us. Giving is not subtraction; it’s multiplication in the hands of a faithful God.
Week 2: Giving Freely shows that generosity creates a divine cycle of blessing. When we water others with kindness, encouragement, or provision, God sends refreshment back into our own lives.
Gratitude opens the channel through which His blessings flow freely.
A grateful soul never runs dry because its source is unending. The more we give, the more we reflect
the heart of God—and in that reflection, we find renewal.
Reflection Questions:
1. Who in my life needs refreshing right now?
2. When have I felt God’s refreshing presence after giving to others?
3. How can gratitude sustain my generosity even when I feel weary?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for refreshing me with Your grace. Make me a channel of blessing to others. As I
pour out, refill me with joy, peace, and strength to serve faithfully. Amen.
Practical Application:
● Encourage someone today with words of life and gratitude.
● Share a meal, prayer, or gift with someone in need.
● Spend time thanking God for how He’s “watered” you this week.
Takeaway Thought:
The generous heart never runs dry—God’s refreshing flows through those who give freely.
