John 1:3-5 Exploring The Way
John 1:3-5 He created everything there is--nothing exists that he didn't make.
Eternal life is in him, and this life gives light to all mankind.
His life is the light that shines through the darkness--and the darkness can never extinguish it.
Colossians 1:15-17 Christ is the exact likeness of the unseen God. He existed before God made anything at all, and, in fact,
Christ himself is the Creator who made everything in heaven and earth, the things we can see and the things we can't; the spirit world with its kings and kingdoms, its rulers and authorities; all were made by Christ for his own use and glory.
He was before all else began and it is his power that holds everything together.
1 John 5:11-15 Dear friends, since God loved us as much as that, we surely ought to love each other too.
For though we have never yet seen God, when we love each other God lives in us and his love within us grows ever stronger.
And he has put his own Holy Spirit into our hearts as a proof to us that we living with him and he with us
And furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now tell all the world that God sent his Son to be their Savior.
Anyone who believes and says that Jesus is the Son of God has God living in him, and he is living with God.
John 3:17-21 God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.
"There is no eternal doom awaiting those who trust him to save them. But those who don't trust him have already been tried and condemned for not believing in the only Son of God.
Their sentence is based on this fact: that the Light from heaven came into the world, but they loved the darkness more than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
They hated the heavenly Light because they wanted to sin in the darkness. They stayed away from that Light for fear their sins would be exposed and they would be punished.
But those doing right come gladly to the Light to let everyone see that they are doing what God wants them to."
Genesis 1:3-5 Then God said, "Let there be light." And light appeared.
And God was pleased with it, and divided the light from the darkness.
So he let shine for awhile, and then there was darkness again. He called the light "daytime," and the darkness "nighttime." Together they formed the first day.
