THE ADVENT TRUTH
The secret rapture isn’t biblical—it’s Jesuit theology dressed in evangelical clothes. The idea that believers will vanish before the tribulation didn’t come from the apostles, but from a 16th-century Jesuit priest named Francisco Ribera, who invented “futurism” to deflect the Reformers’ claim that the papacy is the Antichrist. Protestants used to know this! For 300 years, they taught that Antichrist was already at work in Rome (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4). But by pushing the Antichrist into a future seven-year period, Jesuit teachers made the papal system vanish from prophecy—and many churches still preach that lie today.

The Bible says no one is secretly taken away before tribulation. Jesus Himself said, “Immediately after the tribulation… shall appear the sign of the Son of Man” (Matthew 24:29-31). Paul confirms, “The Lord Himself shall descend… and then we shall be caught up together” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). There’s nothing secret about it—every eye will see Him (Revelation 1:7).

The rapture theory makes people believe they’ll escape suffering instead of preparing for endurance and holiness. But Jesus said, “He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13). The saints don’t vanish—they stand! (Revelation 14:12).

The Jesuit goal was to hide Rome’s role in prophecy—and it worked. The question is: will we keep repeating their theology, or return to the Word of God? The true hope isn’t a secret flight—it’s the glorious, visible return of Jesus Christ for a faithful people who have kept His commandments and the faith of Jesus.
