The Gospel continues (part 4)
Good evening everyone. How was your day. How was work and business and lastly how are you. I'm glad myself for the hand of God is upon me. It's a big privilege indeed.
So let's continue. You should have read through by now to where Adam ate the fruit right? And it was due to Eve right? And we will all say that Satan through the serpent deceived Eve and he was so crafty, and so cunning that Eve couldn't resist the temptation right?
But do you ever stop to actually think about what went about in the temptation because Satan the serpent didn't just come to Eve and demanded that she eats the fruit and Eve complied right away. I don't know if I'm making sense?
So, putting this into perspective,... Imagine yourself living with a supernatural, all powerful being and this being is the only person you've ever known outside of your husband. Make this imagination from Eve's perspective please.
So continuing, this supernatural all powerful being tells you that you can eat of every tree in your backyard and that all these trees are good for food except the one in the middle of the backyard.
He also went ahead and told you that the tree in the middle of the backyard contains poison in all of the fruit, that if you eat it, the fruit will kill you.
And so one day, you're in the backyard and a snake came up to you and tells you that the only person you have ever known outside of your husband, who created this backyard you're living in has lied to you.
The snake still went ahead and tells you that if you eat the fruit of that tree, you will have super powers.
Before I continue, know this: Adam and Eve are one but separated which I'll surely talk about one day. And remember I said, that Adam knows what God knows in the previous posts which means Eve also knows what Adam knows from God because they are one. Register this in your head before you continue.
So Eve knowing all this that when you eat a fruit that has poison, she will surely die right? Yes! Thank you for answering. So let's continue. With Eve knowing all these, she then decides to believe a snake which she saw for the first time compared to a being she saw at every cool of the evening that the fruits of the tree would cause her no harm and she decides to gamble her life. It doesn't make sense right? I don't know for you but it doesn't for me.
So, end of imagination. Please kindly end your imagination so that we can go back to the bible. Are you with your bible? Okay thank you very much. Let's begin...
In Genesis 3:1, the serpent asked Eve if God said that she should not eat of the tree? And what was Eve response from what you read? That God said, of every tree you shall eat except one which will lead to death. Right? Are you sure, this one that you're just nodding your head did you even open your Bible? Anyways, let's continue...
For her to reply to the serpent that way means she understood what God meant about death but yet... Through the continuous temptations of the snake, she still went ahead in eating it right? And you may be asking, why did I say it's continuous? It was a continuous temptation because Eve was exactly like God. She was not a fool. I refuse to believe that a sentence and a line of temptation could lure her. A creature that thinks like God. No naw. It's impossible.
What you should be asking me is: Prince, what exactly happened? That with all this knowledge of death, Eve still went ahead to eat the fruit of death.
And what if I told you that death was never in the tree and it's fruit? Boom
Think on it. Till tomorrow. Have a good night rest because God has made it so. Send your prayer request to my DM
