The gospel continues (part 6)
Before I continue guess what... Satan attacked me and he thought I'll be offensive but the wisdom of God guided me. I had to withdraw and study the strategy he used and I figured everything out.
It was a petty strategy but it was really worth it. But I thought to myself, if Satan can be pretty with offense, why can't I be petty with love. You won't understand all this until you start being serious with Jesus.
So back to Eve... She no longer relied on God's word but on her own experience at that moment. Now, why would she do that? Why would she stop relying on God's word to now relying on her own experiences? Well if you read through your Bible, it shows you.
The next thing she observes is that the tree is appealing to the eye and it's good for food. Now, what is she doing here? It's about the fact that every tree she had ever observed in the course of her time in the garden was the basis of reasoning for which to evaluate this tree and determine if what God is saying actually adds up.
And before I continue, don't do mathematics with God's word. Obey God's word completely.
I continue... So, she observes that all of the other trees in the garden that she had previously eaten from that didn't kill her were all appealing to the eye same as the tree God told them to stay away from which then brings a question to her mind...
She now asks herself... What is the difference between this tree and all of the other trees that would make God to tell me not to eat it? When you start thinking like this over God's word, you're on your way to doom.
And the answer to her question is what the serpent told her. The suggestion that the tree will make her like God with the ability to evaluate whether or not what he is doing is actually good. But why would Eve care about that?
I will continue tomorrow. I have to pray. Please pray too
