Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

First, let me thank all Veterans who follow my pages. You are the reason we have this freedom to share the gospel without true fear of persecution.

When I first started writing these daily posts, like back in 2010 or so…I would flop open the bible…pointing to the page…reading and listening…then finding a story to explain it. I was always cautious or tried to be cautious of not imputing too much of me but staying true to the message. Then, for whatever reason or excuse, I stopped writing. Would love to offer a heartfelt and valid explanation, however, I barely remember yesterday, let alone why I stopped writing back then.

Now, since I have started again, I tell a story first. After which I find the key point and look for an appropriate scripture. Sometimes the scripture that He leads me to; I have to read it several times and the context around it … Sometimes it doesn’t seem valid or appropriate, however, after typing it out…I get out of the way and message He is imparting tags me between the eyes.

If I were to make an educated guess as to why I quit writing, is because I got in the way. I started being the center instead of an object lesson and Him the center. An easy door for the enemy to open when you choose to share the Good News.

As we walk our paths, he, the enemy, will show us our worth. He will show us that it is our talent, our voice, our outlook, our peace that others seek. Where there might be some truth to that, it is not our peace…it is God’s peace imparted on us for us to display. It is not our talent; it is the talent He provided us with to share His story. It is not our voice, but His voice through us. And our outlook, well … it is His outlook of where to place your focus to use the voice, the talent to impart peace on others.

Today while you are about your day, give thanks to the Father for the abundance of blessings, gifts, and talents that He has given you. Giving to those around you the smile that they need, the handshake or hug of acknowledgement, or simply a prayer. It makes a difference…one seed/soul at a time.

Be blessed today my friends.
