Proverbs 1:2-3 Instruction Exploring KJV
Proverbs 1:2-3 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgement, and equity;
Proverbs 1:7-10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and and instruction.
My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother;
For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about they neck.
My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
Proverbs 2:1-7 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
For the LORD giveth wisdom; out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous; he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
Proverbs 4:1-2 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
Proverbs 4:4-5 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words; keep my commandments, and live.
Get wisdom, get understanding; forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Proverbs 4:10-13 Hear, O my son, and receive my saying; and the years of thy life shall be many.
I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.
When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened, and when thou runnest, thou shall not stumble.
Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go; keep her; for she is thy life.
