Mary's response to Birthing Jesus

Luke 1:46-56 And Mary said; “My soul magnifies the Lord,

And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.

For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For Behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.

For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And Holy is His name.

And His mercy is on those who fear Him From generation to generation.

He has shown strength with His arms; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the lowly.

He has filled the hungry with good things, And the rich He has sent away empty.

He has helped His servant Israel, In remembrance of His mercy.

As He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and to his seed forever.

And Mary remained with her about three months, and returned to her house.

Exodus 20:12 "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.

Matthew 15:4-9

"for God commanded, saying, 'Honor your father and your mother', and, 'He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.'

"But you say, 'Whoever says to his father or mother, "Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God."--

'then he need not honor his father or mother,' Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.

"Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:

'These people draw near to me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.

And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'"

Ephesians 6:2-3 "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commamndment with promise;

'"that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth."

There was a time for the residents to tell their story about their Mom or their story of being a Mom.
