The gospel continues (part 8)

With Eve thinking of this, she decided she needed something else, she decided she needed outside information and outside source of power to be able to strengthen her up on her dillema and to fix the insecurity that had suddenly been birthed in her by Satan's deception.

And if you think I'm thinking too much, then ask yourself this question... Why did God take the decision that if we're to come to him, we should be willing to trust him. Trust was what God wanted the Israelites to give him in the wilderness. That's all he's asking for.

Even Jesus demanded this of us in Matthew 16:24 that if we must follow him, we have to take up our cross, deny ourselves, surrender all including our will and comfort and you will ask yourself... How am I going to survive?

Can you now see that what happened to the Israelites is also happening to us and that is why all this events has to be carried out in the old testament for moral lessons but yet everyone is still having the mindset of Eve. LACK OF TRUST.

Lack of trust will make Jesus tell you that he knew you not. And I also use this venture to tell you this... It's not works that will take you to God neither is it doing good things neither is it making some type of specific act or fulfilling some type of ritual.

Why is it trust? It's because trust was the thing that was destroyed in the garden. Distrust was actually the original sin of man before disobedience because it was the distrust in God that led them to disobey him and so the solution is to trust God and as a result of trusting him, we receive the Holy spirit and then we are able and capable of obeying him which is the full cycle of reconciliation.

Moving from distrust into disobedience back into trust which leads to obedience.

That's the cycle and if you're not willing to be obedient, you can't receive the Holy spirit and mind you the Holy spirit is the seal of salvation.

Have a nice day. I'll continue tomorrow
