✝️ Under the Tree of the Cross 🌟 Under the tree of the Cross we sat Eating from its fruits, life Jesus breathed and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit" And Thomas was not with the apostles, but he received the same gift The breath of Jesus did not disappear With every breath given to us The Incarnation resolved all issues of separation And buried them in the garbage dump of history The Cross resolved all debate about love The fire of self-sacrifice eradicated all argument The Resurrection decided the defeat of life by death The Resurrection defeated death and life flowed forth The Trinity ended all talk about God.
