BUILD — EVEN IF IT STARTS SMALL

There is something powerful about beginnings. Many people despise the days of small starts because they don’t yet see the picture finished — but the truth is, every great thing God has ever built began as a seed, hidden and unseen.

I often remind myself not to fear starting small, because as my mentor once said: “Everything big starts small.” That simple truth has carried me through seasons where all I had was vision, prayer, and willingness. And honestly, that’s enough, because God specializes in taking seeds and turning them into forests.

Scripture encourages us clearly:

“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.” — Zechariah 4:10

So BUILD. Commit to the process. Celebrate the steps you are taking, even if they feel tiny today. Consistency and resilience are evidence that the Spirit of God is strengthening you. Every challenge you face and overcome is shaping you into the person capable of carrying the dream once it manifests.

Jesus said the Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed — the smallest of all seeds — yet it becomes the largest tree where birds rest in its branches (Matthew 13:31-32). That’s exactly how God works through us: He starts inside before it shines outside.

Maybe the dream has not taken full form yet. Maybe there is no visible progress to point to. But recognize that God is building it from within you, and in due time, the outward reality will reflect the greatness He planted internally.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

So be joyful in the journey. Keep building. Keep trusting. Keep showing up. The final image will shine beautifully — because God finishes what He begins.

“He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion.” — Philippians 1:6

Be happy and don’t worry. You’re growing something heaven has approved.
