DAILY DEVOTION - November 14
The Open Window of Heaven
Malachi 3:10 (NKJV)
(Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house... and try Me now in
this...)
Tithing is not a financial transaction—it’s a faith declaration. God invites His people to trust Him by
giving back what already belongs to Him. In doing so, He promises to open the windows of heaven
and pour out blessings beyond measure.
In this closing of Week 2: Giving Freely, we see generosity as an act of surrender. When we bring our
tithes and offerings in gratitude, God responds with abundance—not always in wealth, but in wisdom,
provision, and peace.
Gratitude keeps the windows open. When we give with thankful hearts, heaven’s flow never stops.
Reflection Questions:
1. Do I see tithing as obligation or opportunity?
2. How has God blessed me through faithful giving?
3. What step of trust can I take to open heaven’s window wider?
Prayer:
Lord of Hosts, thank You for Your promise to bless those who trust You. Teach me to give joyfully and
to depend on You as my ultimate source. Pour out Your favor in ways that glorify You. Amen.
Practical Application:
โ Give your tithe with prayer, not habit.
โ Share a testimony of God’s provision on Lordsbook.
โ Spend time thanking God after every act of giving.
Takeaway Thought:
Gratitude keeps heaven’s window open—faithful giving invites the downpour.
