“Your Circle Matters”

No matter how good, kind, caring, or noble your heart is, sometimes the environment you are in cannot recognize or appreciate your worth. Just as the eagle soars high above the chickens, some hearts are made for greater heights, and it’s not a failing—it’s a calling.

Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 13:20: “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” Surrounding yourself with those who lift, encourage, and understand you is not selfish—it’s stewardship of the gifts God has placed within you.

And yet, God also teaches us grace and love for everyone, even those who cannot see our value. Forgiveness and kindness do not always guarantee recognition, but they reflect Christ in us. Sometimes, the friend who sticks closer than a brother becomes our chosen family, placed by God to journey with us through life’s highs and lows.

So, if you feel out of place, do not despair. You are being prepared for the right circle, for the right season, and for the right blessings. Trust God’s timing, hold your heart pure, and continue to shine—your value is never diminished, even if it’s unrecognized by the wrong eyes.
