DAILY DEVOTION - November 16
Trusting Through Gratitude
โก Proverbs 3:5–6 (NKJV)
(Trust in the Lord with all your heart... and He shall direct your paths.)
Trust grows where gratitude dwells. When we acknowledge God with thankful hearts, He directs our steps in peace. Leaning on our own understanding creates confusion; leaning on gratitude brings clarity.
In Week 3: Contentment & Trust, this verse reminds us that faith and thankfulness are partners. Each act of trust becomes an act of worship. Gratitude assures our hearts that even when we can’t see the full path, the God who leads us can.
Reflection Questions:
1. What area of my life do I still try to control instead of trust?
2. How can gratitude strengthen my trust in God’s plan?
3. When has acknowledging God redirected my path for good?
Prayer:
Lord, I trust You with all my heart. Thank You for guiding my steps even when I can’t see where they lead. Help me to lean on gratitude instead of my own understanding. Amen.
Practical Application:
โ Start every decision this week with “Lord, I trust You.”
โ Thank God for unanswered prayers that later revealed His better way.
โ Share a story of how God guided you when you trusted Him.
Takeaway Thought:
Trust grows strong when gratitude leads the way.
