Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

The She Shed is officially open. It is not finished, but it is open. Open for writing. Open for thought. Open for prayer. I spent a solid couple of hours out there yesterday. It was wonderful. I took a few items out there to help finish the cabinet display, and I made an introductory video showing it off.

After the video, I went on to evict the hordes of flies that had taken up residency and cleaned the windows. Once that inner layer of dirt was off, the sun really lit the place up. So much so that as the afternoon crested and the sun began its descent, it created a reflection on my laptop even though my laptop screen was not facing the window.

I told you the other day that my daughter called me out on not promoting my books. Today, I actually started a TikTok thing to do just that. In coordination with using my She Shed to write, it is also going to be my springboard to launch my books. Listening to the voice the Father sent me (my daughter’s), we are going to open up a new world of adventure.

While I was making the video, I was so at peace. The nerves that had stalled my earlier thoughts and attempts were gone. Though the video was nowhere near perfect by anyone’s standards, and trying to get posted so the ‘whole’ thing would air was challenging, it was perfect in the sense that I finally obeyed the whispers. Blessings have already been received by this first step. It is amazing.

When I am called to step out of my comfort zone, I tend to be a bit bullheaded. I know that is hard for you to believe, especially those of you who know me personally, but it is true. I have a stern, stubborn side. It was there for the writing of The Chasm. It was there for the relaunch of Narrow Pathways. It was there for the costumes at work. It was there for the random hug a stranger. Yet, once I said ‘Yes’ and quit trying to figure it out…the peace that came over me was surreal.

Nowhere does it say our walk will be a constant path of roses and rainbows. However, it does say that we will be tested and tried. Does that mean I have to battle every day an uphill battle with metaphoric blood and guts…no. But He will ask you to step out of your comfy place and do something that is not in your proclaimed wheelhouse. And … when you argue or throw your tantrum, He will be patient and wait you out. But, once you comply, there is a peace of Father’s approval that comes and covers you. You know it was His plan for you to be in that place at that time.

Today, I pray that you walk in peace. That your blessings be bountiful. That your Monday does not succumb to Murphy and that the Son’s Light shines so brilliantly that you need sunglasses.

Be blessed today my friends.
