Jesus is coming soon, and the signs around us make it clearer than ever that His return is near. The Lord calls us to be watchful, prayerful, and ready, not caught sleeping in a world distracted by sin and comfort. In Matthew 24:42 it says, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Every believer must live each day as if it were their last, keeping their faith strong and their hearts pure before God. Luke 21:36 reminds us, “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Now is the time to put away compromise and lukewarmness, to seek the Lord with all our heart, and to walk in obedience to His Word. Romans 13:12 says, “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.” Stay awake, be ready, and keep your eyes on Jesus, for the trumpet will soon sound and the faithful will rejoice when they see the King coming in glory.
