John 6:35 And Jesus said to them,

"I am the bread of life. he who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

John 6:48-51

"I am the bread of life.

"Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

"This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.

"I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."

Acts 2:40-43 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation."

Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
