Colossians 3:12-17 Park Summitt 2019 NKJV
Mark 11:20-33 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
And Peter, remembering, said to him, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away."
So Jesus answered and said to them,
"Have faith in God.
"For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespassed."
"But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses."
Then they came again to Jerusalem. And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priest, the scribes, and the elders came to Him.
And they said to him, "By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority to do these things?"
But Jesus answered and said to them,
"I also will ask you one question; then answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things;
"The baptism of John--was it from heaven or from men? Answer Me."
And they reasoned among themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' He will say, 'Why then did you not believe him?'
"But if we say, 'From men'"--they feared the people, for all countedd John to have been a prophet indeed.
So they answered and said to Jesus, "We do not know." And Jesus answered and said to them,
"Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things."
1 Peter 4:7-11 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins."
Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.
As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God,
If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
1 Corinthians 13:1-8 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could move mountains, bur have not love, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
