Thought Of The Day...
Daniel 3:17 is a bold declaration of unshakable faith in the face of unstoppable danger. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood before a king who held the power of life and death. The furnace was real. The heat was real. The threat was real. But so was their confidence in God.
They didn’t deny the existence of the fire—they simply refused to let it define their faith.
Their message was simple:
“The God we serve IS able… and we believe He WILL deliver us.”
They knew that God’s power was not limited by circumstances. The hotter the fire, the greater the opportunity for God’s glory to be revealed.
Three Truths from Daniel 3:17
1. God is ABLE to deliver you.
No matter the heat of your situation—financial strain, illness, family conflict, spiritual warfare—your God is able. His power has not diminished. His authority has not weakened.
He is still the Deliverer.

2. God is WILLING to deliver you.
The Hebrew boys didn’t waver in their belief. They didn’t say, “God might deliver us.” They said, “He WILL deliver us.”
This is the confidence of people who know God’s character—not just His power.

3. Your stand of faith brings God into the fire.
They stood for God, and God stood with them.
When they were thrown into the fire, the Lord Himself stepped into the flames.
Sometimes God doesn’t remove the fire immediately—He joins you in it and brings you out without the smell of smoke.

• Are you trusting His ability AND His willingness?
Today, let your declaration be the same:
“My God is able…and He will deliver me.”

PRAYER...
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I stand on Your Word today just as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood before the king. You are the God who is able to deliver, and You are the God who will deliver. No fire, no enemy, no circumstance is greater than Your power. Strengthen my faith to stand firm even when the heat is rising. Walk with me in every trial and bring me out without harm and without fear. I trust Your heart, Your plan, and Your timing. Thank You for being my Deliverer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
