I DON'T WANT A BIBLE BELIEVING CHURCH.

The first words that made me stop scrolling and listen were these:
“I do not want merely a Bible-believing church.”
At first it shocked me, so I listened carefully, examining everything through Scripture—just as the Bereans did, who “searched the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so” (Acts 17:11).

He continued:
“I want a church that is yielded to the Holy Spirit.”

Because wherever the Holy Spirit is present, He teaches.
Jesus said, “The Holy Spirit will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have said to you.” (John 14:26).

This is His book, not mine, not yours. “For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Peter 1:21).
So unless the Spirit teaches us, how can we truly understand?
Paul said, “The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God… because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Corinthians 2:14).

There were many who called themselves Bible-believing Christians, yet they enslaved Africans using the same Scriptures to justify evil. Others used this Book to discriminate, to hate, to kill, to force their beliefs on people.
Why?
Because they did not have the Spirit.
And without the Spirit, they could not understand the heart of the God who inspired the Scripture.

“For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” (2 Corinthians 3:6).
“To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” (Romans 8:6).

That is why I say again:
I do not want a Bible-believing church.
I want a Holy-Spirit-led church.

Why is it that when some people speak using Scripture, all we hear is condemnation?
We see angry men and angry women who cannot preach grace, cannot lift the broken, cannot embrace the lost, and cannot set the oppressed free.
Yet Jesus said, “I did not come to condemn the world, but to save it.” (John 12:47).
And “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me… to proclaim liberty to the captives and set the oppressed free.” (Luke 4:18).

The church has been turned into a gang—divided, hostile, rejecting the very people we were sent to love.
But Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15).
We are sent to the lost, the broken, the outcast—“for the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:10).

God has children of every color, tribe, and nation.
“He has made from one blood every nation of men” (Acts 17:26).
You did not create humanity—God did.

Be at peace in who God made you.
If you are African, honor your identity and culture—every tribe and tongue will worship before the throne (Revelation 7:9).
If you are African-American, Chinese, Palestinian, Jewish, European—wherever you are, love Jesus from there.

Some have lost their inheritance trying to become someone else because they thought another culture made them more spiritual.
But the culture we are called to adopt is the culture of heaven—“Walk in love” (Ephesians 5:2), “Walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:16), “Show mercy” (Micah 6:8).

When I walk with Jesus in the Spirit, my earthly culture does not separate me from God.
It only becomes a problem when I abandon God and worship other gods.
But my culture itself is not the enemy—God created diversity.

Therefore:
I want a Holy Spirit-believing, Holy Spirit-led, Holy Spirit-taught church.
