Ephesians 4:25-32 Park Summit NKJV 2019
Psalm 4:1-8 HEAR me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
How long, O you sons of men, Will you turn my glory to shame? How long will you love worthlessness And seek falsehood? Selah
But know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to Him.
Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
There are many who say, "Who will show us any good?" LORD, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us.
You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased.
I will both lie down in peace and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
Acts 20:29-38 "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
"Also form among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.
"Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.
"So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
"I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel.
"Yes, you yourself know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me.
"I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said,
"it is more blessed to give than to receive.'"
And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.
Then they all wept freely, and fell on Paul's neck and kissed him,
sorrowing most of all for the words which he spoke, that they would see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship.
Luke 3:7-16 Then he said to the multitudes that came out to be baptized by him, "Broad of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
"Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.
"And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."
So the people asked him, saying, "What shall we do them?"
He answered and said to them, "He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise."
Then the tax collectors also came to be baptized, and said to him, "Teacher, what shall we do?
And he said to them, "Collect no more than what is appointed for you."
Like wise the soldiers asked him, saying, "And what shall we do?" So he said to them, "Do not intimidate anyone or accuse falsely, and be content with your wages."
Now that the people were in expectation, and all reasoned in their hearts about John, whether he was the Christ or not,
John answered, saying to all, "I indeed baptize you with water; but One is mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Colossians 3:12-17 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord,
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Isaiah 7:10-17 Moreover the LORD spoke again to Ahaz, saying,
"Ask a sign for yourself from the LORD your God; ask it either in the depth or in the height above."
But Ahaz said, "I will not ask, nor will I test the LORD!"
The he said, "Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small things for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also?
"Therefore the LORD Himself will give you a sign; Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
"Curd and honey He shall eat, that he may know how to refuse the evil and choose the good.
"For before the Child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that you dread will be forsaken by both her kings.
"The LORD will bring the king of Assyria upon you and your people and your father's house--days that have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judah."
