First is Grace then Peace

Colossians 1:1-8 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are in Colosse; Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints;

because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,

which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf.

who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.

Ephesians 1:1-2 PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints who are on Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus;

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 4:14-21 I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you.

For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

Therefore I urge you, imitate me.

For this reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.

Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.

But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.

For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

What do you want? shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?

and all the brethren who are with me, To the churches of Galatia;

to whom be glory forever and ever, Amen.
