THE ADVENT TRUTH
People today act like Christianity means freedom from obedience instead of freedom from sin. Strange how the devil has convinced people that grace is a license to live lawless. But the Bible calls that “the mystery of iniquity” (2 Thess. 2:7)—a rebellion disguised as religion. The popular lie today is: “Christians don’t have to tithe or follow the Ten Commandments anymore.” Really? Show me that verse.

Jesus said the opposite: “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). The commandments weren’t nailed to the cross—our sins were (Col. 2:14). If there’s no more law, then there’s no more sin, because “sin is the transgression of the law” (1 John 3:4)—and if there’s no more sin, then we don’t need a Savior. See how dangerous that doctrine is?

The Ten Commandments reveal God’s character—holy, just, and good (Romans 7:12). They were written in stone by God Himself and placed inside the Ark of the Covenant. That alone shows their eternal nature. The New Covenant doesn’t abolish the law—it writes it on our hearts (Hebrews 8:10). God doesn’t change (Malachi 3:6), and neither do His moral standards.

And yes—tithing is still biblical. It existed long before Moses. Abraham tithed (Genesis 14:20). Jacob tithed (Genesis 28:22). Tithing isn’t “Old Covenant legalism,” it’s a principle of faith, gratitude, and stewardship. Jesus Himself confirmed it: “This you ought to have done, and not leave the other undone” (Matthew 23:23). The early church supported gospel workers the same way (1 Cor. 9:13–14).

Lawlessness isn’t Christianity—it’s rebellion. Real grace doesn’t erase obedience; it empowers it. “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.” (Romans 3:31)

In the last days, God’s true people are clearly identified—they “keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12). Don’t let smooth-talking preachers and TikTok theologians lead you away from Scripture. Obedience isn’t legalism—it’s love in action.
