THE CURSE OF ACHAN & THE THIRD ANGEL’S MESSAGE.
When Israel went to fight at Ai, they expected victory.
They had God’s promise, God’s truth, and God’s power.

But instead… 3,000 men fell in defeat.

Why?

Because one man, Achan, hid a Babylonish garment and a wedge of gold in his tent.

“Israel hath sinned… they have even taken of the accursed thing… therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies.”
— Joshua 7:11–12 (KJV)

Achan’s secret rebellion brought a curse on the whole camp.
One man’s compromise stopped a nation’s mission.

God told Joshua:

“Get thee up; sanctify the people… there is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel.”
— Joshua 7:13 (KJV)

Fast forward to today.

The same thing is happening again — but not with gold and garments.

Many in God’s Remnant movement are hiding Babylonish thinking in their tents:

Debates about God’s nature instead of preaching His character.

Suspicion and accusation instead of mission and mercy.

Private theories instead of public warning.

And like Achan’s hidden treasure, it’s bringing spiritual defeat upon the camp.

We were not raised to argue — we were raised to proclaim.

The message for this time is not “philosophy,” not “who’s Jesuit,” not “who’s right.”

It is the THIRD ANGEL’S MESSAGE!

“Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come…
Babylon is fallen…
Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
— Revelation 14:6–12 (KJV)

This is the message of obedience, worship, and righteousness by faith.

When this message is buried under controversy, the blessing departs and confusion reigns.

Like Achan, many today are holding on to forbidden treasures — not physical, but spiritual.
Hidden pride.
Unbelief.
Distrust of the Holy Spirit.
Distraction from the mission.

And it’s costing us souls.

Ellen White warned:

“When the church is distracted with unimportant questions, the work of God is hindered, and the power of the message is lost.”
— Evangelism, p. 119

That’s the Achan curse in modern form — the message hidden in the tent, the camp defeated before Ai.

But praise God, there’s still time to cleanse the camp!

When Israel removed the accursed thing, power returned and victory came.
When the Remnant removes the distractions — argument, speculation, pride —
the Holy Spirit will return in power, and the Loud Cry will sound like thunder!

“Up, sanctify the people.”
— Joshua 7:13

It’s time to dig up what we’ve buried.
It’s time to stand under the banner of the Three Angels’ Messages once more.
It’s time to finish the work!

.The world is perishing.
.Probation is closing.
.The last message of mercy must go forth.

Don’t be an Achan in the camp of the living God.
Don’t hide the message under a Babylonish garment.
Don’t bring the curse upon the people of God through silence or distraction.

* Rise up.
* Speak up.
* Finish the work.

“Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
Revelation 14:12

The call is clear.
The mission is urgent.
The blessing is waiting.
The curse is lifting.

Let’s sanctify the camp and sound the trumpet!
