Day 4: The Day You Don't Understand (The Eunuch's Story)

· The Scene: You're riding in a climate-controlled chariot, but your soul is in a desert. You have the scroll, you're reading the words, but they don't connect. You have success, but you lack meaning. "How can I understand," you ask, "unless someone explains it to me?"
· The Human Heart: This is the desert of intellectual and spiritual confusion. You're going through the motions of faith, but it feels dry. You're seeking, but the pieces aren't fitting together.
· The Divine Detour: Out of nowhere, someone appears running alongside your chariot. "Do you understand what you are reading?" This is the divine appointment, the book, the friend, the sermon that arrives at the exact right time to make sense of it all.
· Your Boot Camp Drill: Ask the Question. Be like the Eunuch. Have the humility to say, "I don't get it." Ask God for guidance. Reach out to someone you trust and voice your confusion. The teacher arrives when the student is ready.
