Ready For the Change of Seasons NKJV

Joel 2:15-19 Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call the sacred assembly;

Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room.

Let the priests, who minister to the LORD, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, "Spare Your people, O LORD, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them, Why should they say among the peoples, 'Where is their God?"

Then the LORD will be zealous for His land, And pity His people.

The LORD will answer and say to His people, "Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations.

2 Timothy 4:1-5 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom;

Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;

and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Matthew 5:13-16 "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its favor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

"You are the light of the world, A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

"Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp-stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal, A time to break down, and a time to build up,

A time to weep, and a time to laugh, A time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones,

And a time to gather stones, A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to gain, And a time to lose, A time to keep, and a time to throw away;

A time to tear, and a time to sew; A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, And a time to hate; A time to war, and a time to peace.

What profit has the worker from that in which he labors?

I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their heats, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

Ecclesiastes 8:4-9 Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him, "What are you doing?"

He who keeps his command will experience nothing harmful; and a wise man's heart discerns both time and judgement,

Because for every matter there is a time and judgment, though the misery of man increases greatly.

For he does not know what will happen; So who can tell him when it will occur?

No one has power over the spirit to retain the spirit, And no one has power in the day of death. There is no release from that war, And wickedness will not deliver those who are given to to it.

All this I have seen, and applied my heart to every work that is done under the sun; There is a time in which one man rules over another to his own hurt.
