A Cry for Mercy, Justice, and Divine Intervention
Across various regions of Nigeria, countless families have endured unspeakable violence—banditry, kidnappings, brutal attacks, killings, rape, destruction of worship centers, and targeted assaults on clergymen, congregants, and even military personnel standing guard. Innocent blood continues to cry from the ground.
While we speak cautiously about the term “genocide” in a political sense, the spiritual truth remains clear: countless believers have been hunted, oppressed, and afflicted simply because they bear the name of Christ. Heaven sees it. And Heaven responds.

WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT INNOCENT BLOOD
1. God hates the shedding of innocent blood.
Proverbs 6:16–17
“The LORD hates... hands that shed innocent blood.”
2. Innocent blood cries out for justice.
Genesis 4:10
“The voice of your brother’s blood cries unto Me from the ground.”
3. God is a defender of the oppressed.
Psalm 10:17–18
“You will cause Your ear to hear… to do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed.”
4. God will avenge the blood of His people.
Deuteronomy 32:43
“For He will avenge the blood of His servants.”
5. Violence against God’s people provokes divine intervention.
Psalm 72:14
“He shall redeem their life from oppression and violence: and precious shall their blood be in His sight.”
