Jesus said, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:21–23).
In the parable of the ten virgins, “they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut” (Matthew 25:10). The foolish virgins came too late, crying, "Lord, Lord, open to us,” but He answered, “I know you not” (Matthew 25:11–12).

God’s Word says, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon”(Isaiah 55:6–7).

Friend, the warning is urgent—turn from sin, follow Christ with all your heart, and be ready now, for when the door shuts, there will be no more chance.
