Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

What a gloriously beautiful and productive day it was yesterday. Service was filled with the Holy Spirit. I could physically feel His presence. Later in the day, a friend and I discovered that her pastor and my pastor decided to collaborate and bonk both of us over the head … but as we were chatting … it occurred to me that my post yesterday was in the same arena. I think someone is trying to tell, at least me, that I am thick-headed and need lots of reminders. Haha.

Afterwards, I was able to start the ‘one corner at a time’ decluttering. Some last-minute changes in our schedule, and we are hosting a small Thanksgiving dinner. It is a good thing that I work best on short notice. No time to procrastinate.

It was such a good day that I even got time to spend in the She Shed. I did not get as much writing done as I had hoped; however, I did get the start of the relaunch prepared and a couple of practice videos created. In making those videos and getting feedback before posting, I learned that talking is actually an area that I need to improve in. This should prove to be an interesting challenge.

Now it is not for lack of words or volume in voice, but presentation. I have been advised that in my current videos, I sound like I am upset or getting ready to ground one of my kids. And here I thought I was using my nice soft voice. In the prototype relaunch videos, I picked up the excitement … at least I tried … and my very honest beta tester says that now I sound like I am barking orders. Haha. I cannot deny … but now I must find that sweet spot between anger and orders to excitement and entertainment. A new endeavor that God has placed before me to mold into a versatile tool for His glory.

I giggle a lot at this concept because I have done very well, in my eyes at least, at presenting things the way I do. However, it does make sense that I need to adjust and grow … just because the corn looks cute or good because it is knee high on the fourth of July, does not mean that it should stay there. In order for it to be ripe for harvest, it must grow. I must grow.
What area in your life are you avoiding growth in? Areas that you are claiming that He made you ‘this’ way for a purpose so you will maintain that direction? Mine, as you can see, was vocalization. As my writing creates more intense storylines, I must learn to foretell their purposes and bring interest to the reader. To simply write a story does no one any benefit if no one reads it. The idea is to plant the seeds necessary in the fields that think they are thought to be barren.

Today I encourage you to step out in faith into the colosseum God has led you to and face the lions of growth.

Be blessed today my friends.
