THE ADVENT TRUTH
Yes, Jesus is called the Word, (John 1:1, Revelation 19:13). But the Bible repeatedly calls Scripture the Word of God as well:

“The word of God is living and powerful…” – Hebrews 4:12

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God…” – 2 Timothy 3:16

“The word of God liveth and abideth forever.” – 1 Peter 1:23

“The Scripture cannot be broken.” – John 10:35

“He who hears God’s Word and believes…” – John 5:24

“The seed is the Word of God.” – Luke 8:11

So biblically speaking:

Jesus is the Living Word

The Bible is the Written Word

Both come from the same source—GOD

Anyone trying to separate Jesus from Scripture is laying the foundation for deception. That statement sounds spiritual, but it’s the same lie Satan used in Eden: “Yea, hath God said?” (Genesis 3:1). Question the Word—destroy faith. That’s the method.

Jesus Himself submitted to Scripture:

When tempted—He said “It is written” (Matthew 4:4)

He prayed—“Sanctify them through Thy truth, Thy Word is truth” (John 17:17)

He taught—“Man shall live by every word of God” (Luke 4:4)

If Jesus trusted Scripture as final authority—who are we to question it?

Let’s be real: When people say “the Bible isn’t God’s word,” what they really mean is:

“I don’t want the Bible to have authority over what I believe or how I live.”

That’s a setup for the last-day delusion. The only defense against deception is a “thus saith the Lord.” The Holy Spirit will NEVER lead you away from Scripture—only deeper into it (John 16:13).

If a teaching weakens your confidence in the Bible:
It is not from God.

Test every spirit by the Word (Isaiah 8:20)

Stay rooted. Stay grounded. Stay in the Word.
