While so many companies avoid anything “too religious” during the holidays, a McDonald’s in Spring Hill, Tennessee does the exact opposite. They boldly declare the name of Jesus! Their windows are hand-painted with a full nativity scene, complete with Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus in the manger, along with the words “Rejoice” and “His name is Jesus.”
The photo is viral, but the owners, Tony and Gina Wolfe, say this is nothing new. Their family has been painting Christ-centered messages on their McDonald’s windows for 40 years—a tradition started by Gina’s father and continued every Christmas and Easter.
In a culture that is actively trying to silence the gospel, I am thankful for business owners who unapologetically lift high the name above every name!
