DAILY DEVOTION — November 25
The Sacrifice of Praise
Hebrews 13:15 (NKJV)
(Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God...)
True praise costs something—it’s a sacrifice. It’s easy to thank God when life feels good; it’s harder
when pain lingers. Yet it is in those moments that praise becomes purest. Gratitude offered through
tears moves heaven’s heart.
Week 4: Thanksgiving & Praise invites us to continual praise, not conditional praise. Gratitude
through hardship proves our faith and refines our worship.
Reflection Questions:
1. What is one area where I can offer God praise despite pain?
2. How does continual thanksgiving strengthen my spiritual endurance?
3. Why does God call praise a sacrifice?
Prayer:
Lord, receive my praise even in the hard places. Teach me to thank You continually, knowing You are
worthy no matter my circumstance. Amen.
Practical Application:
● Write a praise letter to God about your current challenge.
● Speak gratitude aloud when you feel discouraged.
● Encourage someone else to praise through pain.
Takeaway Thought:
The truest praise rises from the hardest places—and God calls it holy.
