Devotional Thought

Faith is not just believing—faith is holding on even when everything around you says let go. One of the greatest examples of unwavering faith is Abraham. When God promised him a son, Abraham was already a hundred years old and Sarah was ninety. Every natural evidence pointed to impossibility, yet Abraham chose to stand on God’s Word.
He refused to look at his age.
He refused to consider the condition of Sarah’s womb.
He refused to stagger in unbelief.
The Bible says:
Romans 4:19
“He considered not his own body now dead…”
Romans 4:20
“He staggered not at the promise of God… but was strong in faith.”
Abraham teaches us this truth: Faith does not deny reality, but it refuses to be ruled by reality. Faith is anchored in what God said—not in what life looks like.
Maybe you have waited long for a breakthrough. Maybe your situation seems dry, delayed, or completely impossible. But hear this today:

No matter the matter — God is still God.

He doesn’t run on your timeline.
He is never too late.
His promise does not expire.
Jesus said:
Matthew 17:20
“If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed… nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
Hold on.
Speak the Word.
See from God’s perspective.
Dig deeper into Scripture, because:
Romans 10:17
“Faith comes by hearing the Word of God.”
Every time you meditate on the Word, your faith gains new strength.

Reflection

What impossible situation am I facing today?

Have I allowed circumstances to weaken my faith?

What promise from God can I stand on today?

Ask yourself:
“Whose report will I believe?”

Prayer

Father, strengthen my faith today. Help me to stand on Your Word and not on the voice of circumstances. I choose to believe what You have spoken over my life. Teach me to see through Your eyes and to walk boldly in confidence. Nothing is too hard for You, and I trust You completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declaration

“I will not give up. My faith is alive. God’s promise for my life will speak. Nothing is impossible with God.”
